One of the most important businesses in our community is the business of people. It is because of our sincere interest in the outstanding achievements or special events happening in our City that the Mayor will issue a Mayoral Proclamation either proclaiming a certain day, offering congratulations, appreciation or recognition.
Many of the proclamations are presented at a City Council meeting while others are sent to the individual or organization requesting the proclamation for presentation at a time of their choosing.
If you are involved in or are aware of an event of this nature, please contact us concerning the proclamation and/or presentation. The City Secretary's Office will follow up with the Mayor and coordinate with you.
To assist us in composition of your proclamation, please provide as much information as possible including contact information. Please allow at least two weeks for processing and preparation of the document.
