Fire Inspections
Fire inspections are conducted to ensure each business in the City of Cleburne is safe from fire hazards and to ensure the safety of occupants. Over 1,700 commercial building are in Cleburne. Fires in businesses not only impact the safety of occupants and firefighters but also the economy of the city. Contact the Fire Inspector David Clark.
Fire Investigations
The fire marshal is responsible for investigation of all fires within the city limits of Cleburne. The cause and origin of fires is important to determine potential problems with equipment, human error, processes, flammable products, and arson fires. By investigating cause and origin, new codes and public education programs can be refined.
Public Education
Public fire education is an important part of the prevention of fires. Programs include fire extinguisher training, fire station tours, apparatus demonstrations, and health fairs. Our goal is to educate elementary age children in the Cleburne I.S.D. Annually in October, all elementary schools are visited by fire personnel to deliver fire safety messages and distribute fire safety materials. Request a fire safety presentation online or call Fire Administration at 817-645-0964.
