[ARCHIVED] Nolan River Road School Corridor and Colonial Drive Sidewalk Improvement Project

The City of Cleburne will be installing sidewalk along portions of Nolan River Road, Colonial Drive, and Woodard Avenue to connect existing sidewalks and provide a continuous and safe pedestrian access to schools, churches, retail businesses, and residential neighborhoods along these roads. The extents of the sidewalks are shown on the attached figure. 


The scope of the project consists of constructing 5' wide sidewalks, approximately 2.44 miles in length on both sides of Nolan River Road from Harlin Drive to Country Club Road and approximately 0.55 miles in length to connect existing sidewalks along portions of Colonial Drive and Woodard Avenue. The City will also install ADA ramps at all intersections and crossings. 


Construction is scheduled to begin on July 13th, 2017.  Copies of the construction plans will be made available at City Hall for viewing. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Engineering Department at 817-645-0931.
