Merry Marshal Christmas aims to help those in need

Merry marshal christmas!

The City of Cleburne’s City Marshal’s Office is seeking the community’s help to spread some holiday cheer.

The Office needs help through a collection event it’s calling Merry Marshal Christmas. From now until January 11, the office along with other volunteers are collecting new or used Christmas trees, lights, ornaments, decorations, etc. Officials are also collecting new—still in the box—toys to give to families in need. Those interested can drop off items at the Police Station, 302 W. Henderson.

Those interested in nominating a family can email Deputy City Marshal Kayla Wright at [email protected]. The city needs a family’s name, the number of children, and address.
