Live Christmas trees may be set out for pick up in January.

The City of Cleburne Sanitation Department will pick up trees on Friday, Jan. 4 and Friday, Jan. 11, 2019. Also, live Christmas trees will be picked up during bulk weeks throughout the month of January.

In order for a Christmas tree to be picked up:

  • It must be a live tree
  • It must have no decorations
  • It cannot be attached to a tree stand, even a wooden stand.

In addition to pick-up, Christmas trees may be taken to the Transfer Station during regular business hours and dropped off at no charge. The Transfer Station is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but will be closed on New Year’s Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21.

For further questions, contact the Sanitation Department at 817-641-2236.
