The City of Cleburne will replace brick manholes on Anglin Street with concrete this February.
The work begins the week of Feb. 4 and is anticipated to last through Feb. 15. Replacing the manholes with concrete increases their durability, water resistance, and longevity. The city is doing this work ahead of planned road improvement construction on Anglin to reduce the impact on the soon-to-be new roadway.
As part of this work sections of Anglin Street will need to be closed to traffic when crews are working on specific manholes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
