The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering winter storm disaster relief assistance to individuals and households in Cleburne and Johnson County.
FEMA is offering financial assistance for households with sustained damage from snow and ice in the February winter storm. Individuals affected by the winter storms can apply for disaster assistance online.
Those who sustained damage from snow and ice during the winter storms and have insurance, should contact their insurance company and then FEMA. Insurance claim information is needed to determine eligibility for federal assistance. Insured applicants must provide FEMA documentation such as an insurance settlement or denial letter to process their application.
