March 24, 2021 -- Texas has expanded its vaccine availability to all adults ages 16 and older starting Monday, March 29. As such, we are anticipating an initial increase in demand at our Vaccination Hub that will likely result in longer call wait times and busy tones when dialing the vaccination hub phone line. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage all potential participants to register through the online web portal when registration opens. Online registration is fast and simple. Our team of firefighters and local volunteers is expecting interest from people across Texas. The State and Federal governments’ vaccination plans direct hubs to serve all eligible persons regardless of residence.
While many vaccine providers only offer online services, our team has offered a phone line to assist those in need. Our goal is to preserve the vaccination hub phone line for those who may not be able to register online including those without Internet access, the elderly, and disabled. A large number of incoming calls could overload the phone network and block those most in need. If you do need to call, please be patient as we are expecting calls from beyond Cleburne and Johnson County.
Registration opens at 9 a.m. Monday, March 29. Visit the online registration portal. If you or someone you know is eligible for the vaccine but cannot register online they can call 817-357-4456.
