The City of Cleburne received recognition for its most recent State of the City from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO).
The trade organization awarded the city an Award of Excellence for the 2021 State of the City document as part of its Report category. TAMIO hosts an annual awards ceremony that judges communications content from municipalities across the state. This is the city’s first award from TAMIO.
The City publishes this document every January to highlight the past year’s accomplishments and to preview the coming year’s goals. This year’s report put more emphasis on visuals for easier reading.
One of the judges said, “The State of the City is very well created,” a judge said of the report. “It has just the right amount of text and images.”
