Work Begins for 2022 Street Maintenance Program

Road Repairs

Road work will begin next week on some of the streets identified in the City of Cleburne’s 2022 Street Maintenance Program.

Starting Monday, Oct. 31, crews will begin repairing and/or repaving the following streets on varying days:

  • Willow Creek Road
  • Oran Avenue
  • S. Nolan River Road
  • Third Street
  • S. Holloway Street
  • Turner Street
  • Peacock Street
  • Yellow Jacket Drive

A map of the sections of roads affected is available here. The work is scheduled to take two weeks per street to complete. Motorists in the construction areas are being asked to please use caution in work zones and watch out for workers.

This year, approximately 6.5 miles of roadway will be resurfaced. A list of the other roads that are on the 2022 maintenance list is available here.

The City of Cleburne uses data to pinpoint the best budgetary investments for its street network. Since 2019, around 26 miles of roadway have been resurfaced.
