Construction on Utility Line Renewals Begins

Utility Line Repair

Work will begin for phase two of the City’s 2022 Street Maintenance Program on Monday, Nov. 14. Phase two includes seven streets that will have water/sewer line renewals and receive new pavement.

Euclid Street is the first street in phase two that will undergo construction. Crews will replace sewer/water lines on Euclid Street from Franklin Street to Granbury Street and then repair the surfacing of the road. Utility construction is expected to last through March 2023 and will include temporary pavement repair. Final paving on the project will occur later in 2023.

This construction work is in addition to the eight streets in phase one that were previously reported to be under construction for pavement repairs beginning Oct. 31. Learn more about the Street Maintenance Program here.
