Free Events to Properly Dispose of Waste and Tires

Hazardous Waste

For those looking to properly dispose of household hazardous waste or tires, there are several dates and times this spring that will help you do that for free.

A household hazardous waste collection eve t will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Cleburne Conference Center for Cleburne residents. To participate, citizens need to bring a current City of Cleburne utility bill and a photo I.D. showing a Cleburne address. A list of allowed items to bring is available here

Johnson County residents can get rid of their old tires for free on various dates and times starting on April 15 through June 10. There are some restrictions, such as not being a commercial shop, no rims, and no tires taller than 54 inches or wider than 16 inches. A list of the schedule and locations for the tire drop-offs can be viewed here.
