The City of Cleburne's STARS program recognizes staff members who go above and beyond to help serve the community. The latest recipient of the All-Star Award is Cindy Moore, the senior secretary for the water department.
Moore has served the City of Cleburne for the past seven years. She is known for her wit, smile and pleasant demeanor. Any time there is something to do within the department, she is usually the one volunteering to get it done.
Recently, Moore has had to wear two hats while the department works to fill a vacancy in the administrative assistant role. Despite having to take on more responsibilities temporarily, she has kept her positive demeanor and excels in customer service.
“I’m so honored to be chosen as this month’s All-Star,” said Moore. “I love what I do, and I love the people I work with, so they make my job pretty easy.”
For her outstanding work and exceptional service, Moore received a City shirt and $50 gift card.
The All-Star Award is usually given out monthly. Anyone can submit a nomination by contacting the employee’s department.
Each All-Star winner for the fiscal year is then put into the running to become the City’s Superstar, which is the highest recognition in the STARS program.
