Golf Crew Member Earns City’s All-Star Award

Feliciano Resendiz

The City of Cleburne's STARS program recognizes staff members who go above and beyond to help serve the community. The latest recipient of the All-Star Award is Feliciano Resendiz, also known as Felix. He is a cart attendant and maintenance worker at Cleburne Golf Links.

Resendiz has served the City of Cleburne for 14 years. Those who have worked with him said that he far exceeds his regular job description daily. He is a natural leader, well-respected and liked by co-workers and customers.

“He will identify issues on the golf course and work with co-workers and supervisor to devise a plan to correct the issue and, often times, lead the implementation of the plan,” said Steve Brown, Cleburne Golf Links manager. “He is aware of the quality of product that we present and looks for ways to improve it at all times.”

For his outstanding work and exceptional service, Resendiz received a City shirt and $50 gift card.

The All-Star Award is usually given out monthly. Anyone can submit a nomination by contacting the employee’s department.

Each All-Star winner for the fiscal year is then put into the running to become the City’s Superstar, which is the highest recognition in the STARS program.
