Yes, however all special events must receive prior approval from the Police Department and the Park and Recreation Department. A special event application must be filled out and turned in to the police department, depending on the type of special event, you may be required to provide liability insurance for your event. There is no cost to reserve Don Moore or Carver Field, however if you wish to have the field lights turned on during your reservation there is a fee of $35 per hour, or if you wish to have the field prepped including lining the fields, dragging, and the like there is a fee of $100. These fees must be paid in person with cash or check only at the Booker T. Washington Recreation Center at least 48 hours before your reservation date.
