1. How do I make an account inquiry?

All information regarding your bill is available through our website or by calling the office at 817-645-0919 during business hours.

2. When will I be billed?

The City of Cleburne has five billing cycles. All meters are read electronically and bills are due around the same time each month, with the exception of weekends and holidays.

3. Can I schedule a water turnoff?

Yes. You may call or visit our office during business hours to schedule a disconnect or transfer. If you are making repairs and need your water turned off during business hours, call 817-645-0919. If there is an emergency after hours, call 817-645-0972.

4. What are the city garbage charges?

The residential base fee $16.80 plus tax. Each additional cart is a $60 one-time fee. Monthly charge only increases after the third cart, for an additional $5 a month. 5. Are there late charges?

A late fee is added the next business day after the due date printed on the bill. Late fees are 10%. A disconnection notice is mailed with a disconnection date set for seven days later. We offer extensions as long as you call or come in by the disconnection date. It can be extended for an additional 10 calendar days.

6. How can I make a payment?

Payment options are cash, check, credit card ($1.50 fee, Visa/Mastercard only), bank draft and money orders. All forms of payment are accepted in our office during business hours. Phone payments (credit card only), mail, online payments and night drop available. We do not accept temporary checks.

7. What are the service fees?

The deposit for residential or commercial accounts is between $75 and $225, depending on the size of the meter. The application and transfer fees are $10. The fee for a returned check is $25 and a disconnect fee is $25.

8. Do I need a permit for a garage sale?

Yes. The permit is $ 7.50. You are allowed (2) permits within a 12-month period. Each sale may be for (3) consecutive days.

9. How is my bill calculated?

The minimum residential monthly bill is $56.05 Service demand charge for water is $22.53, with a rate of $6.00 per 1000 gallons. The service demand charge for sewer is $12.58, with a rate of $3.86 per 1000 gallons. The maximum sewer charge of $64.69 is based on 13,500 gallons of usage. Residential curbside trash pick up is $16.80 plus tax of $1.39 per month. Drainage Utility fees vary and are charged based on property size.
