The Municipal Court of Record strives to:

Court Staff & Responsibilities

The Municipal Court of Record has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanor offenses issued in the City limits of Cleburne by:
  • City police officers
  • Animal control officers
  • Code enforcement officers
  • The City Fire Marshal.

Clerks are not licensed attorneys and cannot provide legal advice.
The clerk's office is responsible for processing the clerical work of the Municipal Court of Record, collecting court fines/fees and perform administrative duties delegated by the Municipal Court Judge.

Another Exciting New Change... Cleburne Municipal Court now offers Payment Extensions and Deferments online for your convenience!

Effective January 1, 2015, the Cleburne Municipal Court of Record  has made it a little easier to take care of your citation with online payment extensions and deferments.

Does your busy lifestyle make it hard to come by the court? 

Now you can access our online payments on the web site and request a 30 day extension to pay your ticket or you can request a deferment to keep it off your driving record!!
