Confined SpaceOperations is the largest division, responsible for delivering all emergency and non-emergency responses. Assistant Fire Chief Keith Scarbrough oversees operations.

Operations is comprised of three shifts staffed on a 24-hour schedule. The Cleburne Fire Department operates three fire stations strategically located throughout the city. Total staffing for shift operations is currently 48 personnel. Each fire station is staffed with an advanced life support (ALS) engine company, with a minimum staffing of three personnel.  Fire apparatus include four pumpers, battalion, two medics, ladder truck, hazardous materials / rescue vehicle, water rescue equipment, and wild land apparatus. Staffing per shift is currently 16 personnel with a minimum staffing of 12 personnel. 

Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
The Cleburne Fire Department is committed to providing the highest level of pre-hospital care to the citizens of Cleburne. The department requires all new employees to complete paramedic training. The department currently has 40 paramedics.  An Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance, Medic 2 is staffed full time to respond when the private provider, Careflite, is unable or incidents requiring multiple resources.  Dr. Michele Beeson serves as the medical director for the fire department.
