Our mission is to provide citizens materials that enhance the quality of life, promote learning and foster a love of reading. Provide programming that will encourage literacy, cultural and educational partnerships thru a variety of formats.  Materials will meet the needs of all levels of education and age groups.

Services Include:

  • Internet, WIFI, Microsoft Office
  • Computer classes / job searching / resume help
  • Delivery for home-bound patrons
  • Weekly Story time for 18 months to 5 year olds
  • Monthly book reviews and programs
  • Genealogy and local history collection
  • Book club meets third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
Obtain a Library Card
Library cards are free for residents of Cleburne. If you reside outside the city limits, there is a non-resident fee of $15 per year. All students of CISD who reside outside the city limits may obtain a card at no charge. A  valid state issued driver's license or valid state issued identification card are required along with a secondary proof of residency.

Don't forget you may renew and reserve materials online. You will log on with your library card number. Your PIN is the last four digits.

Interlibrary Loans
For items not in the collection, interlibrary loans are available. Materials from the collections of other public, academic, and special libraries throughout the nation are made available to library card holders through this service.
