Funding was provided by TxDOT and the City Of Cleburne. Additionally, the airport has the ZLink service which takes the airport’s weather observations three times an hour, 24 hours a day and brings them to the National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN).
The FAA created this database to disseminate weather observations to all weather outlets. The Zlink service distributes Cleburne’s weather observations to weather outlets including the National Weather Service, The Weather Channel, Flight Services Station, Air Traffic Control, FAA and other commercial vendors every twenty minutes.
The City of Cleburne recognizes that accurate and up-to-date weather information is essential to the safe and economic operation of any airport. Few things change faster than the weather. |
