Animal Shelter Kitten
Looking for a new best friend? Adoption can be the option. It is a common myth that animal shelters are full of animals that are mean, ugly, and mixed-breed. The truth is, there are many wonderful, and often purebred, animals inside shelters. And mixed-breeds offer a one-of-a-kind experience, where the pets are as loving and loyal as pure breeds.

Shelters often have smaller animals such as hamsters, ferrets, or birds, too.  And many of these are never adopted. Please look at your local shelters before buying a pet.

Adoption Fees
Adoption fees are part of a voucher system. Each adopter receives a voucher for a rabies vaccine and sterilization. These can be redeemed at a veterinarian’s office for services.

The Cleburne Animal Services adoption fee is $70.00.
