POLICE RECORDS SECTION
The Cleburne Police Department’s Records Section is supervised by Sgt. Amy Knoll. The Records Section is responsible for the processing, maintenance, disposition and storage of all police department offense and accident reports. The Records Section forwards all necessary paperwork to the appropriate prosecutor’s office when criminal cases are ready to be filed. They provide assistance to the public coming into the lobby of the police department. |

Records personnel accept and process requests for copies of reports, assist those wishing to obtain different types of permits, and provide information to the public. The Police Records Section is staffed Monday through Friday from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M.

ABOUT SGT. AMY KNOLL
Sgt. Amy Knoll hails from Shamrock, TX. She is a six year U.S. Army reservist. She joined the Cleburne Police Department in 1994. After several years in patrol, she was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) where she was promoted to Corporal. Sgt. Knoll became the first female officer to achieve the rank of sergeant in 2003. She is also the first and only police officer in the Cleburne Police Department to hold a Master’s degree. |
| In addition to supervising the Records Section, she serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO). She is the liaison between the Department and the news media. Some of her other duties include police applicant background investigations, training coordinator, budget preparation, computer systems coordinator, internal affairs investigations, and administrative assistant to the Chief. |
