Options to Surrender
We understand that situations may change, and sometimes giving up or rehoming a pet is necessary. Cleburne Animal Services will accept any owned pet from within the city limits of Cleburne; however, we would like to be your last resort.
Any shelter environment is stressful for even the most social pet, so we ask that you explore all other rehoming options prior to bringing your pet to our shelter. Cleburne Animal Services is a small shelter, but we are almost always at full capacity.
Before surrendering your pet to CAS, please review the following alternatives that may be available to you.
