Library Events

There's always something going on at the Cleburne Public Library! Take a look at our ongoing programs and activities that are held year-round.

Classes and Clubs

  • Book Club: Book Club meets at the library every second Thursday at 3 pm. Selections vary and include both fiction and non-fiction. Come join the discussion. For more information please call 817-645-0934. 
  • Chess Club: Chess club is held Monday nights at 5:30 p.m. Open to all ages and skill levels.
  • Computer Classes: Computer classes are held every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Booker T. Washington Recreation Center, located at 100 Mansfield Road in Cleburne. Registration is required. Call (817) 645-0934 for more information.
  • Maker Corner: Maker corner is a designated time to create, discover and explore. Learn more about the times and equipment used to create here.
  • Story Time: Story time is held every week. For toddlers (18 months through 3 years), sessions are on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Preschool story time, for ages 3-5, is held Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Programs

  • Summer of Stories:To get in on all the goodness, follow us on social media (FB/Instagram: Cleburne Public Library), check the calendar on our website in June and July, or pick up an official summer calendar beginning May 15 to get in on the fun.
