How do I get a library card?
To receive a library card you must present a valid Texas driver's license or Identification card, and a piece of mail with your current address. Click on this link to see all the resources available to you with a library card.
Are library cards free?
Library cards are free if you live or own property within the city limits of Cleburne. There is a $25/per household non-resident fee if you live outside of the city limits. CISD students and employees who do not live within the city limits of Cleburne may obtain a free library card.
How to I log into my library account?
Go to www.cleburne.net/library/catalog Use the last four digits of your library card number as your pin.
How do I renew/reserve Items?
Log into your account and renew and reserve materials online If the item will not renew, it may be on hold for another patron, or you may have reached a renewal limit. If the library doesn't have a title, are there any other options?
Interlibrary loan is available for items not in the collection. There will be a $3 charge for each Interlibrary Loan.
Does the library have Internet? Is there a charge? Can I print?
We have free Internet for library card holders. A valid library card, computer access card, or guest pass allows access to library computers. Account balances must not be over $5.00. A computer access card may be purchased for $10 for six months or $20 a year. Printing is .15/B&W, .50/color.
Does the library have a public fax machine?
No.
Does the library have a notary?
No.
Does the library offer computer classes?
Yes, weekly at Booker T. Washington Recreation Center. Check our events calendar.
Do you provide WI-FI ?
Yes, we have free WI-FI.
Does the library offer GED classes?
No, GED classes are offered by the Cleburne Independent School District. Please call 817-202-1108
Does the library accept donations?
Yes, we accept books, DVD, VHS, audio books, and Cd's. We do not accept magazines and encyclopedias.
Does the library use volunteers?
We have an active volunteer program. Volunteers are needed in all areas of the library. A volunteer application must be filled out before starting.
