Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Are leftover household chemicals getting you down? Conquer your crud!

Get rid of your hazardous waste the correct way. Household Hazardous Waste Collection will take place on Saturday, April 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Cleburne Conference Center, located at 1501 W. Henderson St.

This event is for Cleburne residents only!  To participate, bring your current City of Cleburne Utility Bill and a photo I.D. showing your Cleburne address.


Allowed Materials to Bring

Acids, antifreeze, old gas (<10 gal), oil filters, brake & transmission fluids, batteries, degreasers, drain cleaners, fertilizers, unbroken fluorescent light bulbs, paints  & stains, thinners, varnish & solvents, herbicides, pesticides, craft, photo, & pool chemicals and expired personal care products (like hairspray).


Materials Not Allowed

Pharmaceuticals, tires, ammunition, explosives, asbestos, medical waste, PCBs, propane or butane cylinders, smoke detectors or radioactive material.
