Where:            City Hall Council Chambers, 10 N. Robinson, Cleburne TX

Topic:              Discussion by representatives from the Texas Historical Commission regarding the Downtown Commercial Historic District’s nomination for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places


The City of Cleburne has submitted an application to the Texas Historical Commission (THC) for the city’s Downtown Commercial Historic District to be considered for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. As part of the nomination process, a public meeting is held in order for THC representatives to provide information and answer questions regarding what this nomination will mean for the City of Cleburne and those downtown property owners whose buildings are part of the District.

Following the public meeting in Cleburne, our application will be considered by the THC State Board of Review along with numerous other applications from around the state at a meeting to be held in Houston on May 19th.
