Construction on Grand Avenue is scheduled to begin the week of Feb. 4.

The work will require the closure of the street in the construction zone to through traffic but residents and services in the area will still have access to homes. Sanitation crews may have to collect trash by hand and encourage residents in the construction zone to follow city ordinance and make sure all trash in carts in bagged. Motorists should follow all detour signage and barricades to ensure the safety of residents, drivers, and construction crew members.
