Governor's order allows retail-to-go starting April 24

COVID19

Cleburne Mayor Scott Cain signed new orders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing non-essential retail to operate starting April 24.

Order No. 8 updates Cleburne’s policies to align with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s latest executive order allowing “non-essential” retail stores to operate and sell goods under retail-to-go regulations. Previous regulations to fight the spread of COVID-19 remain in place.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, April 24, retail services may operate but must provide retail-to-go services through curbside or drive-through pickup, delivery by mail, or delivery to the customer’s doorstep in compliance with the terms required by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Customers may not enter stores. DSHS’s full requirements can be found online.
