You’re invited to attend an upcoming Open House event to participate in the development of the City’s Zoning Ordinance Update.
The City is hosting the open house from 6-8:30 p.m. on Sept. 24, at the Cleburne Conference Center. While attendees can come-and-go to the open house to best fit their schedule, there will be a formal presentation and public input exercise at 7 p.m. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the city’s current zoning ordinance and ask questions with city staff and zoning consultants on hand.
The Zoning Ordinance helps shape the future development across the city. The last time the City’s Zoning Ordinance and map were updated was 1996 and much has changed since then. Cleburne has experienced significant growth and has evolved into the city it is today. The revised Zoning Ordinance will reflect both current and projected market and neighborhood conditions, as well as incorporate best practices for development regulation.
