FM 4 (Second Street) Reopen to Traffic

Road Reopening

The City of Cleburne understands that construction projects can be an inconvenience, and we appreciate the community’s patience as the necessary work had to be done.

With that being said, the City is happy to announce that the portion of FM 4 (Second Street) that has been closed since August is now reopen. The road was closed between Wilhite Street and S. Brazos Avenue for a BNSF rail expansion project that required the relocation of water and sewer lines that were located within the area of future rail construction.

City crews were able to successfully get those utility lines relocated, and the road is now open to traffic again. Again, thank you for your patience.
