Sparks Drive Connection Project to Begin in January

Sparks Drive Project

A project meant to better connect the City and provide better accessibility near the industrial area of Cleburne will proceed with construction by the beginning of next year.

Sparks Drive currently runs from County Road 1017 to the Chisolm Trail Parkway. It then disconnects and continues to intersect at County Road 1022. The Sparks Drive Connection Project will allow for a straight drive between the two county roads.

Construction is anticipated to begin In January 2023. One-third of the project is being funded through a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).
