Cleburne Makes List for Most Charming Christmas Towns in Texas

Whistle Stop Lights

Whistle Stop is an annual tradition in Cleburne that has grown to attract over 1,000 attendees to see Hulen Park transform into a winter wonderland.

The series of events that takes place for Whistle Stop is one of the reasons Cleburne made Only in Your State’s top 10 list of most charming Christmas towns in Texas. The City of Cleburne came in at number five overall in the state, and it was the top North Texas city to make the list.

According to the article, Cleburne is a perfect place to celebrate the holidays with 11 acres of lights, pictures with Santa, pony rides and more. The article continues to state that the nostalgia is heavy, and the southern charm is on full display.

Whistle Stop 2022 kicks off on Monday, Nov. 21 with a tree lighting event. It runs through Dec. 2 with the lighted Christmas parade. View more about Whistle Stop here.
