All-Star Award Goes to Police Senior Secretary

Martina Bartolowits

The City of Cleburne's STARS program recognizes staff members who go above and beyond to help serve the community. The latest recipient of the All-Star Award is Martina Bartolowits, the senior secretary for the Cleburne Police Department.

Bartolowits has served the City of Cleburne for more than a decade. Her colleagues noted that she is always quick to help others in the department. She helps translate for Spanish-speaking citizens, encourages others with a smile and supports the team beyond the regular 40-hour week.

“I love serving the citizens and supporting our staff members,” said Bartolowits. “I don’t do what I do for the recognition, but I’m so honored that my peers would think to nominate me for this honor. I appreciate it.”

For her outstanding work and exceptional service, Bartolowits received a City shirt and $50 gift card.

The All-Star Award is usually given out monthly. Anyone can submit a nomination by contacting the employee’s department.

Each All-Star winner for the fiscal year is then put into the running to become the City’s Superstar, which is the highest recognition in the STARS program.
